RANGPUR, Mar 2, 2021 (BSS) – A terrible fire gutted 15 clothes’ shops at
Jamal Market in Rangpur city causing huge losses to the traders on Tuesday in
the morning.
Deputy Director of Rangpur Fire Service and Civil Defense Station Ahidul
Islam said ten units of the organisation rushed to the spot within minutes
around 6 am and managed to bring the fire under control in a half an hour
effort.
“However, we are not yet sure about the source of the fire,” he said,
adding that investigation continues to reveal the cause of fire and assess
the extent of damages.
