DHAKA, Dec 25, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) division Zunaid Ahmed Palak today said that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s capable daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has transformed all possibilities into potentialities in building a digital Bangladesh.
“Bangabandhu liberated the country, brought independence and his competent daughter the premier Sheikh Hasina has turned all possibilities of the country into potentialities for making ‘Digital Bangladesh’,” he said.
The state minister was speaking as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the ‘Online Quiz of 100 Episodes Competition’ on the occasion of the birth centenary of father of the nation Bangabandhu organized by Dream Deviser, an ICT press release said here.
Following the right path that was showed by Bangabandhu and his daughter, he expressed his optimism to win the anti-state cyber war with help of the country’s youth folk.
The state minister also advised the youth to read books on Bangabandhu such as ‘Karagarer Rojnamcha’ to nurture Bangabandhu’s principles and ideals not only at the political or state level but also in personal life.
At the same time, he urged them to engage themselves in the trainings of ‘School of Future’, which is being set up at the initiative of the ICT department.
He also said: “Without the advice and guidance of Architect of Digital Bangladesh and Prime Minister’s ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy, we would not have been able to cope with the complete global COVID -19 pandemic situation so quickly.”
