Hobiganj-3 lawmaker shifted to CMH for corona treatment
HOBIGANJ, Oct 28, 2020 (BSS) – Member of Parliament (MP) from Hobiganj-3 constituency and Hobiganj District Awami League President Advocate M Abu Zahir was shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) this morning as he was diagnosed coronavirus positive on Monday.
“At the instruction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the ailing lawmaker was flown to the CMH at around 10:15 am by an army helicopter the Central Eidgah here”, said his family members here today.
The lawmaker was taken to the hospital under the supervision of a medical team led by Dr Major Meherun.
Advocate Abu Zahir was tested corona positive on Monday.
The cross section people, including the leaders and activists of the ruling party and its front organizations prayed for his quick recovery.
