7 militants remanded in Dhaka
DHAKA, June 21, 2020 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today placed seven members of banned militant outfit Allah’r Dol on a three-day remand each in a case lodged under anti-terrorism act.
The seven accused are-Md Abdul Hannan, Mehedi Morshed Palash, Md Sohel Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Md Nazmul Hasan Raju, Md Rejaul Islam and Md Robiul Islam.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashek Imam passed the order against them as police produced them before the court today and pleaded to place them on 10-day remand.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the accused from the capital’s Dakkhin Khan area last night.
According to RAB, arrested Hannan is a senior leader of the militant group.
