Abdullah expresses gratitude to devotees
DHAKA, May 25, 2020 (BSS)- State Minister for Religious Affairs
Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah today expressed gratitude and gave thanks
to the people for offering Eid prayers by maintaining social
distancing as per the government’s directive.
He gave the thanks before offering his Eid prayers at the Baitul
Mukarram National Mosque here.
He said Muslim devotees offered their prayers in line with the
government’s directives including maintaining physical distancing,
avoiding mass gathering and abiding by the health rules of the
country.
Secretary of the ministry Md Nurul Islam, additional secretary ABM
Amin Ullah Nuri and Islamic Foundation director general Anis Mahmud,
among others, were present.
Later, the state minister offered his prayers with other devotees
maintain social distancing.
