GAIBANDHA, April 6, 2020 (BSS) – A former leader of Bangladesh Chhatra
League has donated 700 personal protective equipment (PPE) and 5000 surgical
masks for physicians and staffs of hospitals and health complexes in the wake
of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
Fulchhari upazila parishad chairman and also president of upazila Awami
League GM Selim Parvez handed over the PPE and the surgical masks to Deputy
Commissioner (DC) Abdul Matin at his office this afternoon on behalf of
former BCL president Mahmud Hasan Ripon.
Gaibandha Modern Hospital Superintendent Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, civil
surgeon Dr ABM Abu Hanif and Awami League’s Fulchhariupazila upazila unit
general secretary Advocate Nurul Amin were present on the occasion.
