Nagad to offer uninterrupted service in holidays
DHAKA, March 25, 2020 (BSS) – Digital financial service of Bangladesh Post Office (BPO), Nagad, today said its employees will continue their job to offer uninterrupted services during the 10-day holiday.
“Nagad” will ensure its uninterrupted services during the general holidays,” said BPO Director General Shudhangshu Shekhar Bhadra in a statement.
Nagad has taken this initiative to ease day to day financial transaction to help people adopting all preventive measures against coronavirus outbreak, he added.
In addition, Nagad will not charge for cash out of Taka 1,000 as per instruction of Bangladesh Bank.
On Monday, the government declared a 10-day nationwide holiday, shutting down government and private offices excepting essential and healthcare facilities from March 26 over the situation.
