PIROJPUR, Feb 19, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League Organising Secretary Advocate Afzal Hossain today said the grassroots level workers are the soul of Awami League.
“Sacrifice of the grassroots level workers helps the party to sustain, so they are life of the party,” said Afzal Hossain as the chief guest at the triennial conference of Sadar upazila unit Awami League at Swadhinata Mancha of Pirojpur Gopalkrishna Town Hall premises here.
Presenting various development activities of the government, Afzal Hossain said Padma Bridge is not now a dream, but reality. The construction works of Padma, Payra and Bekutia bridges are running fast, he said.
Chaired by Upazila AL President Freedom fighter Matiur Rahman Sardar, the conference was also addressed by Zila AL President AKMA Awal, General Secretary Advocate Hakim Howlader, Vice-President and City Mayor Habibur Rahman Malek and Member Ishaq Ali Khan Panna.
