Giant ray fish caught in Barguna
BARGUNA, Jan 24, 2020 (BSS) – A giant ray fish, weighing about 400-
kilogram, was caught by the fishermen in the Baleshwari River of the district
today.
The fish, locally called Shaplapata, was brought at Patharghata BFDC Fish
Market this noon. The giant fish that was caught in Padma area of the river
had been sold out at Taka 63,000 at the fish market.
One Md Shaheed Molla bought the fish which will be sold tomorrow at local
market after cutting.
