Eid-e-Miladunnabi observed in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 10, 2019 (BSS) – The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the birth and demise anniversary of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(SM), was observed in the port city as elsewhere in the country today with due religious fervor and solemnity.

On the occasion, a colourful rally of 48th ‘Jasne Julush’ was brought
out from city’s Sholosohor Alamgir Khankha Sharif at about 10 am. The rally was led by Allama Sayed Taher Shah from Pakistan.

Amir Hossain Sohel, secretary of Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust and convenor of ‘Jasne Julush’ claimed that nearly sixty lakh Muslim devotees from all over the country took part in the Jasne Julush.

Besides, Sayed Mohammad Kashem Shah and Sayed Mohammad Hamed Shah, from Pakistan, Sufi Mizanur Rahman, Chairman of PHP Family, Mohammad Mohsin, vice president of Sunnia trust and Principal of Jamea Ahemadia Sunnia Alleia Madrasa accompanied Sayed Mohammad Taher Shah.

Thousands of people from all over the country arrived in the port city early Wednesday to take part in the Jasne Julush arranged by Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust after parading the main streets of the city the rally ended at the Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Madrasa ground at about 2 pm.

Later, they offered a special prayer seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah for peace, progress and prosperity of the country and welfare of the Muslim Ummah following a discussion.

Decorated trucks, cars, vans and other vehicles carrying colourful
banners, festoons and green flags inscribed with verses of the holy Quran and poetic versions praising the Prophet (SM) were used in the rally.

The rally paraded the city’s Muradpur, Panchliash, Chawkbazar, Siraj-u- Dullah road, Andarkilla, Momin road and ended on the Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Madrasa ground at about 1.30 pm.

Important road corners and road islands of the city were decorated with big size arches, colourful festoons and banners inscribed with Kalema Tayyeba and verses of the holy Quran and Hadith.

Moreover, the National Flag and ‘Kalima Teayiba’ written banners was displayed at the important traffic zones of port city and the light posts.

Chattogram Metropolitan police took tight security arrangements to
ensure peaceful celebration of the Eid-e-Miladunnabi.

Local chapter of Islamic Foundation Bangladesh, Darbar-e-Ishapuri in
Fatikchhari, Maijbhandari Gousia Haq Committee, Islamic Front Bangladesh
Chattogram city unit, Darul Arkam Academy, Baitush Sharaf Complex, Uttar
Kattali Amanat Ullah Shah Para Eid-e-Miladunnabi Udjapon Parishad also organized separate Doa and Zikir Mahfils, discussions to observe the day.
