Ideology of Bangabandhu everlasting: Mozammel
DHAKA, July 28, 2019 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel
Huq today said though the anti-liberation forces assassinated Bangabandhu
long ago, the conspirators could not remove the ideology that he instilled
among the nation.
“Bangabandhu gave us a dream of building a ‘Sonar Bangla’ and his worthy
successor and daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been materialising
the dream…Crore of people of the country are astringents and bringers of
his ideology which is unending”, he said.
He was addressing a discussion titled ‘Bangabandhu on the Way to
Centennial’ arranged by Bangabandhu Soinik League at Engineers Institute
auditorium here, said a press release.
“Bangabandhu was an unquestionable leader who struggled against injustice
and repression for the emancipation of people of Bangladesh until his
death…His March 7 historic speech encouraged people to fight for the
freedom of the country keeping everything aside,” he added.
He said the anti-liberation forces killed Bangabandhu when he was trying
to build Bangladesh….So his dreams remained unfulfilled at that time, the
release added.
Mozammel urged the people to contribute to build a ‘Sonar Bangla’ from
their individual stand to make his dreams truth.
With president of Bangabandhu Soinik League Harun-or-Rashid in the chair,
the programme was also addressed by acting president of Bangabandhu Soinik
League Md Mujibur Rahman Matabbar and general secretary GSM Babul.
