Two killed in city
DHAKA, July 26, 2019 (BSS) – Two persons– a lift mechanic and a motor worker– were killed in the city in two separate incidents in Uttara and Hazaribagh Beribadh areas here today.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Sagar, 24 and Md. Raihan, 30.
Police said Mohammad Sagar was repairing a
lift at a house under sector-9, Uttara this noon. He sustained serious injuries as all of a sudden the lift went up.
Sagar was taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where duty doctors declared him dead.
The body was kept at the morgue for autopsy.
In another incident, M Raihan was electrocuted while he was servicing a motor vehicle in the city’s Hazaribagh Beribadh area.
