Maritime ports asked to hoist signal 3
DHAKA, July 26, 2019(BSS)- Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number 3 owing to low pressure formed over coastal areas of Bangladesh.
“Under its influence, squally weather is likely to affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh,” said a Met Office bulletin today.
Fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice, the bulletin added.
