UGC to publish textbooks
DHAKA, July 24, 2019 (BSS) – University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh today signed an
agreement with three university teachers to publish textbooks on higher education written by
them.
UGC Secretary Dr. Md. Khaled and the writers signed the agreement, respectively.
The teachers are Professor Dr. A.K.M. Moinul Haque Meaze of University of Chittagong,
Professor Dr. M. Abdus Samad of World University of Bangladesh and Professor Dr. Ayesha Begum of
University of Dhaka.
Their books are Kona Porichiti, Communication Engineering and Fundamentals and Pabnar
Oitihasik Imarat.
Addressing the programme, UGC member Professor Dr. Sazzad Hossain said that UGC’s assistance
to publish standard textbooks on tertiary education will continue.
