Two killed in Thakurgaon road accident
THAKURGAON, Jan 12, 2019 (BSS) – Two people were killed in separate road
accidents in the district today.
The deceased were identified as Habibullah, 60, hailed from Chandon Chahot
village in Ranisankail Upazila and Abdul Awal, 32, a resident of Horipur
Upazila.
Police said Habibullah died as a microbus hit him this noon on
Ranisankail-Baliadangi road when he was crossing the road. He died on the
spot.
In another incident, Abdul Awal’s motorcycle was hit by a Mahindra trolley
in Shibganj area on Thakurgaon-Pirganj Road this morning. Abdul Awal died on
the spot. His wife was also injured in the accident.
Officer-in-Charge of Ranisankail and Thakurgaon Sadar Thana confirmed the
incident.
Two cases were filed with the concerned thana.
