Menon says Jatiya Oikyafront’s demands ‘intriguing’
DHAKA, Oct 25, 2018 (BSS) – Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon today said the demands of Jatiya Oikyafront ahead of the parliamentary elections are ‘intriguing’.
“The demands of BNP-Jamaat backed Jatiya Oikyafront are intrigues to foil the forthcoming national elections. We should resist their conspiracies to hold a free, fair and peaceful election,” he said, speaking at a programme in city’s Shahjahanpur area.
Shahjahanpur Railway Sunniya Alim Madrasa organized the student-teacher conference, said a press release.
Awami League Advisory Council Member Golam Mawla, Railway Sramik League President Humayun Kabir, AL leaders Kamruzzaman Bablu, Shah Alam and Khwaja Alam, among others, addressed the function.
Menon said BNP and Jamaat are looking for different excuses to create anarchy across the country.
He urged the countrymen to remain alert against their conspiracies.
