Killers, terrorists form Oikyafront: Quader
SAVAR, Oct 25, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said killers and terrorists have joined hands in the name of Oikyfront to hatch conspiracies against the country ahead of the parliamentary election.
“All terrorists, killers and evil persons have joined hands to hatch conspiracies ahead of the national election,” he told a rally marking the mass-contact programme on Amar School ground at Ashulia here.
He urged the party leaders and workers to remain united to resist all conspiracies of Oikyafront.
The AL general secretary said the Oikyafront has no public support so that its rally in Sylhet saw presence of leaders more than the people.
About the general election, he said it is very natural that there will be more than one nomination aspirants of the party to vie in the polls but the leaders who enjoy the maximum people’s support and acceptance would get the party tickets to contest in the general election.
Quader said party leaders and workers will have to work unitedly for those who will get the AL tickets for contesting in the election, he added.
Organizational steps will be taken if anyone violates the party commands, he added.
AL Joint General Secretary Dr Dipu Moni, Organizing Secretaries AKM Enamul Haque Shamim and Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Noufel and local lawmaker Dr Enamur Rahman were present on the occasion, among others.
