DHAKA, Oct 02, 2018 (BSS)-President M Abdul Hamid will go to Netrakona tomorrow to inaugurate the first International Folklore Festival on Mukterpara ground of the district town.
“The President will open the International Folklore Festival-2018 in Netrakona tomorrow afternoon,” President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
He said the President, during his visit, will lay the foundation stone of Sheikh Kamal IT Park on Old Hospital Road of the town.
The ‘Greater Mymensingh Cultural Forum’ (GMCF) will organize the folklore festival with the participation of noted folklore researchers and scholars of different countries.
Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Mustafa Jabbar, also the president of GMCF, will preside over the inaugural function scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm on the day.
