MANIKGANJ, Sept 30, 2018 (BSS)- “Dr Josef Memorial Hospital”, a 30-bed
private hospital, was inaugurated at Joynagar under Manikganj Pourasabha
aiming to provide modern healthcare facilities to the people of the district.

“Present government is sincere enough for the development of private
sector health care services for the wellbeing of common people,” the speakers
said while speaking in the inaugural ceremony of the hospital.

Freedom Fighter Gazi Quamrul Huda Selim, mayor of Manikganj Pourasabha,
addressed the function as the chief guest with founder and Chairman of the
hospital Dr Trina Rubaiya Mamun, Prof of Florida University, USA in the
chair.

Health (Dhaka Division) Dr Md Shah Alam and former District Education Officer
(DEO) Md Abdul Monnaf Khan spoke, among others, on the occasion.

“The government alone cannot ensure health facilities for the vast
population of Bangladesh, so non-governmental organisations need to come
forward to mitigate health problems of underprivileged people,” the sparkers

The 30-bed hospital facilities and services available include out-patients
department (OPD) with eight cabins. At the initial stage, a few specialist
