BNP trying to create anarchy across country: Nasim

DHAKA, Sept 26, 2018 (BSS) – Spokesperson of the Awami League-led 14-party
alliance Mohammed Nasim today said BNP is trying to create anarchy across the
country ahead of the next parliamentary election.

“Finding no other issue to argue with the government, now the party is
just trying to start a fight to create unrest across the country,” he said.

Nasim also the Health and Family Welfare Minister was speaking as the
chief guest at the 2nd National Convention 2018 and Health Exhibition at
Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the city organised by
Bangladesh Private Clinic Diagnostic Owners’ Association (BPCDOA).

“At first, I have announced a grand rally of workers of the AL-led 14-
party alliance at Mahanagar Natyamancha on September 29 in a meeting, after
that they (BNP leaders) announced a rally on September 27, but all in a
sudden they shifted their rally to September 29,” he said.

Questioning about BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir’s
motive behind shifting their rally, Nasim said he was instigating to create
chaos across the country.

“BNP leaders were trying to create anarchy over the upcoming national
election as the party failed to wage any movement against the government. The
next general election will be held as per the constitution like elsewhere in
the world,” he said.

“The next general election will be the final game. The Election Commission
will act as referee and we must have the courage to accept the results,” the
health minister added.

Referring to the new alliance of Mahmudur Rahman Manna and Dr Kamal Hossain
with BNP, Nasim said, “I knew till now that only players can be hired to play
for another team, but they have showed that the system is also available in
politics.”

BPCDOA President Professor Dr Moniruzzaman Bhuiya, National Prof. Dr.
Shahla Khatun, Director General, Directorate General of Drug Administration
Major General M Mustafizur Rahman were present, on the occasion, among
others.
