DHAKA, Sept 22, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today predicted dry weather across the country in next 24 hours as of 9 am
tomorrow as monsoon was less active over Bangladesh and became weak over
North Bay.
Besides, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary
gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places in Rajshahi and Khulna
divisions and at one or two places in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Rangpur,
Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at some places
over the country during the period, said a met office press release here.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded 35.0 degrees Celsius
yesterday at Srimangal and Sylhet in Sylhet division while today’s minimum
temperature 24.0 degrees Celsius at Rangamati and Dimla in Chattogram and
Rangpur divisions respectively.
The sun sets at 5:55 pm today and rises at 5:48 am tomorrow in the
capital.
