Allama Shafi hails PM for recognition of Dawra-e-Hadith
DHAKA, Sept 20,2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Qawmi Madrasah Education Board
Chairman and Hefajat-e Islam Chief Allama Shah Ahmed Shafi today extended his heartiest congratulations to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for giving
the Dawra-e-Hadith (Taqmil) of Qawmi Madrasas the status of master’s degree (Islamic Studies and
Arabic).
He also congratulated the parliament speaker, the education minister,
parliament members and concerned others, said a statement of Shafi issued
here today.
Shafi said the recognition of Qawmi Madrasah was a much-awaited demand of
the country’s thousands of Qawmi students.
“We have been making the demand for long,” he said adding that their
demand has been met after passing the bill in the Jatiya Sangsad which will
make smooth the way for the next generation Qawmi Madrasah students.
