MOSCOW, Sept 18, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said
Tuesday a “chain of tragic accidental circumstances” led to the downing by
Syria of a Russian warplane with 15 people on board.
“It rather looks like a chain of tragic accidental circumstances,” he told
reporters, rejecting any comparisons with the downing of a Russian jet by
Turkey in 2015.
