WELLINGTON, Dec 3, 2017 (BSS/AFP) – The West Indies, battling to save the first Test, were 107 for one in their second innings at tea on day three, needed a further 279 runs to make New Zealand bat again.

Kraigg Brathwaite was not out 34 with Shimron Hetmyer on 27.

New Zealand declared their first innings at 520 for nine with Tom Blundell not out 107.
