Seminar on fiber optics communication system held at JU

SAVAR, Sept 17, 2018 (BSS) – A seminar on ‘Basics and Research Trends in
Fiber Optics Communication Systems’ was held today on the Jahangirnagar
University (JU) campus here.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) of Jahangirnagar
University (JU) student unit organized the programme at the seminar room of
Zahir Raihan auditorium.

Professor of University of Yamanashi, Japan Dr Masanori Hanawa delivered
the keynote speech at the programme on basics and research trends in fiber
optics communication system.

He also inspired the participants for higher study in Japan.

Presided over by Associate Professor of JU Institute of Information
Technology (IIT) M. Mesbah Uddin Sarker, Associate Professor Dr M Shamim
Kaiser, Associate Professor Dr. Md Whaiduzzaman, Assistant Professor Shamim
Al Mamun addressed the function, among others.

Over 100 students of different departments and institutes took part at the
function.
