Indian HC hands over equipment to Central Veterinary Hospital

DHAKA, Sept 16, 2018 (BSS) – Indian High Commissioner (HC) in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla today handed over equipment to Central Veterinary Hospital, Dhaka in presence of Fisheries and Livestock Minister Narayon Chandra Chanda.

An X-ray machine and full set of operation theater equipments for the veterinary hospital has been donated by the Indian government.

Speaking on the occasion, Chanda said, “Bangladesh always gives much priority to the friendship of India and our friendship is intact after around fifty years”.

The minister emphasized on further strengthening the relations between the two brotherly nations.

Presided over Fisheries and Livestock Secretary Md. Raisul Alam Mondal, the equipment handover ceremony was also addressed by Department of Livestock Services Director General Dr. Hiresh Ranjan Bhowmik and CVH Chief veterinary officer Farhad Hossain, among others.
