Telcom officials asked to publicize govt services
DHAKA, Sept 16, 2018 (BSS) – Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary Shyam Sunder Sikder today directed the officials concerned to make the people aware about different services introduced by the government in posts and telecommunications sectors.
“People are being deprived of getting benefit from the services for not having clear information about it,” he added.
The secretary passed the direction at the progress meeting on development activities of the division at his secretariat office, said a press release.
Mentioning that telecommunication sector has achieved remarkable development, Sikder said people are getting benefit direct and indirectly from it.
“People could reap more benefit if they are made aware about it,” he opined.
Additional Secretary M Saiful Islam and other officials were present.
