NARAYANGANJ, Sept 14, 2018 (BSS) – Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan today called upon all to vote for boat, election symbol of Awami League, to keep the present trend of development going.
“We have to make the candidates nominated by Sheikh Hasina winner for the sake of development. BNP has destroyed the spirit of War of Liberation. Khaleda Zia with the help of war criminals is hatching conspiracies to overthrow the government,” he said.
The minister was addressing a function held marking the laying foundation stone of a dredger base in Narayanganj Barafkal Math area this morning.
Presided over by BIWTA chairman Commodore M Mozammel Haque, the function was also addressed by AKM Selim Osman, BIWTA additional secretary Bholanath Dey, BIWTA officers’ association president Abdul Awal, Narayanganj deputy commissioner Rabbi Miah and additional superintendant of Narayanganj police Monirul Islam, among others.
