Iranian delegation meets DU VC
DHAKA, Sept 12, 2018 (BSS) – Syed Hemayet Mirjadah, member of Presidium Committee for Education and Technology of Iran, today called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman.
During the meeting, they discussed about the mutual interest-related issues, especially joint collaborative academic and research programmes being conducted by Dhaka University and various higher educational institutions of Iran.
In the meeting, Syed Hemayet Mirzadah praised Bangladesh’s contribution to the Rohingya issue and highlighted the religious and cultural activities of the two countries.
He dwelt on the academic and administrative activities of Dhaka University and showed his positive gestures about Bangladesh.
Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman gave an overview of history, tradition and achievement of DU and also discussed about the progress of Bangladesh.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guest for visiting DU and showing keen interest in its academic and research activities.
