DHAKA, Sept 9, 2018 (BSS) – A seven-member delegation of Estonia, led by its Foreign Minister Sven Mikser, today met Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at the latter’s office here.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral issues between the two countries, especially parliamentary procedure, trade and commerce and women empowerment, said an official press release.
The Estonian minister also assured of his country’s continuous support to Bangladesh on Rohingya crisis.
Mikser highly appreciated the visible development made by Bangladesh over the years, especially in the field of information and communication technology.
He also highlighted of his country’s election procedure.
Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury highlighted Bangladesh’s vision saying “Bangladesh will become a middle income country within 2021 and a developed nation by 2041.
