DHAKA, Sept 9, 2018 (BSS)-Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
forecasts light to moderate rain or thundershowers throughout the country in
24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at a few places in Rangpur, Chattogram and Sylhet
divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka and
Mymensingh divisions,” said a Met office press release here this morning.
Moderately heavy to heavy falls may also take place at some places in those
divisions in 24 hours commencing 9 am today, the release added.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35.2 degrees Celsius yesterday at
Rajshahi while today’s minimum temperature 24.2 degrees Celsius at Rangamati
in Chattogram division.
The highest rainfall in last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 13mm
at Srimangal in Sylhet division, the release added.
The sun sets at 6:08 pm today and rises at 5:43am tomorrow in the capital.
