RAJSHAHI, Aug 17, 2018 (BSS)-Senior bankers have asked their newly
recruited subordinates to show professional skills and efficiency in
performing duties since it is essential for attaining success in the banking
profession.
They also stressed the need for making banking activities client-friendly
by ensuring transparency and accountability in providing services.
They were addressing the closing session and certificate-giving ceremony of
a six-week foundation training course for 15 newly recruited senior officers
and officers of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) at its training
institute here on Thursday.
RAKUB Managing Director Kazi Alamgir and General Manager Mozammel Haque
addressed the session as the chief and special guests respectively with
principal of the institute Ataur Rahman in the chair.
The speakers highlighted the importance of the bank in agricultural
development of the northwest Bangladesh and asked the officers to apply the
knowledge acquired from the training for boosting agricultural production in
the region.
In this regard, they asked them to discharge their duties with utmost
sincerity and honesty to brighten the image of the bank along with taking it
ahead successfully.
As the largest development partner in the agricultural sector of the
northwest Bangladesh, RAKUB plays a vital role in achieving economic
emancipation and free the nation from poverty and hunger through boosting
credit-flow to the potential agricultural fields.
“You have to build yourselves as competent bankers through the best use of
knowledge you acquired from the training,” said Kazi Alamgir.
The key objective of the course was to improve skills and attitude
alongside enhancing professional competence of the officers through
disseminating ideas about operations, administration and other related
matters of the bank.
