PM’s addl press secy Nazrul Islam appointed to grade-1 post
DHAKA, Aug 16, 2018 (BSS) – Member of the BCS (Information-General) and Prime
Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Md Nazrul Islam has been appointed to grade-1 post.
“The job of Nazrul Islam has been placed with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for
appointing in the PMO Press Wing on deputation,” a PMO Press Wing press release said here
today, quoting a notification of the Public Administration Ministry.
Nazrul Islam got appointment to the joint secretary post in 2015 and the additional
secretary post in 2017, it said.
He served as the PM’s deputy press secretary from 2009 to 2017, and has been working as
the PM’s additional press secretary since October 2017, the release added.
