Quantum Foundation emerge champions in Premier Div. Handball
DHAKA, July 31, 2018 (BSS)- Quantum Foundation emerged champions while
Arambagh Krira Sangha finished runners-up in the Cute Premier Division
Handball League that concluded on Tuesday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali
Handball Stadium.
Quantum Foundation secured 24 points while Arambagh and Narinda Pragati
Boys Club collected equal 22 points each but Arambagh finished as runners-up
by virtue of better goal difference.
Meanwhile, in the day’s first match, Quantum Foundation beat Old Ideals by
40-15 goals after leading the first half by 19-7.
In the day’s second match, Arambagh Krira Sangha defeated Dhaka Mariners
Youngs Club by 77-14 goals after dominating the first half by 39-7.
In the day’s third match, Narinda Pragati Boys Club outclassed Prime
Sporting Club by 46-38 goals after leading the first half by 25-21.
President of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) and former chief of
Bangladesh Army General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq was the chief guest on
the closing day of the league and distributed the prizes. Moushumi Industries
Limited chairman Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal was present as the special
guest.
