University student crashed under train in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, July 30, 2018 (BSS) – A student of International Islamic
University Chittagong (IIUC) was crushed under the wheels of a train in
Kumira area under Sitakunda upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Kazi Sirat, 19, son of Abdul Gafur, hailed
from Manikchari upazila of Khagrachari district also a second semester
student of English Department of the university.
Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of GRP thana police, said the Dhaka-
bound train hit Sirat in the area around 9 am, leaving him dead on the spot.
GRP thana police with the help of locals recovered the body and sent it to
local hospital morgue.
