DHAKA, July 24, 2018 (BSS)-Light to moderate rain or thundershowers
accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many
places across the country in the next 24 hours ending 9 am tomorrow.
” Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary
gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka,
Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately
heavy to very heavy falls at some places over the country in the next 24
hours,” said a Met bulletin issued this morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 34.1 degrees celsius at Tetulia in
Rangpur division yesterday while today’s minimum temperature 24.6 degrees
celsius at Gopalgonj in Dhaka division.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded
110 mm at Feni in Chattogram division.
The sun sets at 6:46 pm today and rises at 5:25 am tomorrow in the
capital.
