CHAPAINAWABGANJ, April 19, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1.02 kilograms of heroin from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon.
The arrested was identified as Md. Shariful Islam, 25, of Tongpara village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Amnura area under the upazila and nabbed Shariful with the contraband drugs.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to Sadar Thana Police with a case.
