RAJSHAHI, April 18, 2021 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in an anti-crime drive, arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 500 yaba tablets here last night.
According to the RAB sources, the arrested persons were identified as Akkas Ali, 33, son of Ayatullah Mondal and Abdus Sattar, 45, son of late Ramjan Ali, both of Govindanagar village under Puthiya Upazila in the district.
A team of the elite force, being informed, conducted a raid in the Gobindanagar area and arrested them with the yaba tablets around 10.30 pm red-handed, RAB sources said here today.
The arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to police after recording a case with Puthiya Police Station in this connection.
