RAJSHAHI, April 17, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 1,21,307 people received second doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the city and all eight districts under Rajshahi division in the last seven days since April 8.
Of them, 22,489 people including 8,087 females took the second jab today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health.
He also said 2,240 including 805 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 1,559 people including 474 females in Rajshahi district, 1,475 including 478 females in Chapainawabganj, 2,307 including 888 females in Natore and 3,899 people including 1,344 females in Naogaon have been inoculated.
Besides, a total of 2,613 persons including 1,021 females got vaccines in Pabna, 3,171 including 1,104 females in Sirajganj, 4,120 including 1,513 females in Bogura and 1,105 including 430 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
On the other hand, a total of 6,41,863 people have been vaccinated with the first dose in all eight districts of the division till today since the countrywide vaccination programme began on February 7.
Of them, 1,355 people including 538 females were inoculated today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder.
