DHAKA, April 14, 2021 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of president of Bangla Academy and distinguished researcher of folk culture Prof Shamsuzzaman Khan.
In a condolence message, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Prof Shamsuzzaman Khan passed away this afternoon, while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
He was 81.
