DHAKA, April 12, 2021 (BSS) – Information and Broadcasting Minister
Dr Hasan Mahmud is continuing to take university classes online even
during his visit abroad.
The minister, who did his PhD degree in Environmental Chemistry at
the Limburg University of Belgium, is a part-time teacher of Earth
Biosphere and its Evolution Course of Department of Oceanography at
Dhaka University.
Besides performing his ministerial and party activities duties,
Hasan is continuing to his teaching profession.
He continues his ministerial works through e-filling and takes
online classes as he is now on a visit to Europe from April 5 last.
Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, maintains regular
contact with the party leaders and workers.
The minister, over phone, said it has been possible just mere
implementation of ‘Digital Bangladesh’ by Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina.
He was also took classes as a part-time teacher at Jahangirnagar
University, North South University and East West University.
The minister has experienced of giving special lectures at Harvard
University and Cornell University in the United States, City
University of London in the United Kingdom, National Defence College
of Bangladesh and other universities at home and abroad.
Hasan is expected to return home this week.
