DHAKA, April 11, 2021 (BSS)- Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of eminent Rabindra Sangeet exponent and Ekushey Padak awardee Mita Huq.
In a condolence message, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Mita Haq passed away this morning while undergoing treatment at a city hospital at the age of 59.
She is survived by one daughter, relatives and a host of well-wishers and admirers.
