DHAKA, April 10, 2021 (BSS) – Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, now in Europe, today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former President of Jatiya Press Club and veteran journalist Hasan Shahriar.
In a message of condolence, the minister said Hasan Shahriar’s dedicated contribution to journalism for a long time will be remembered.
Dr Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Hassan Shahriar died at a hospital in the city today at the age of 76.
