KHULNA, Apr 7, 2021 (BSS) – Separate mobile courts on Tuesday fined 39 people Taka 39,700 for not wearing face masks outside their homes and violating Covid-19 health guidelines in the city and nine upazilas of Khulna today.
Besides, the mobile courts campaigned to wear masks while going outside and abide by health guidelines, warning legal action will be taken against violators of the government decision during lockdown.

According to Khulna district administration’s media cell, separate mobile courts led by Khulna deputy commissioner and district magistrate Md Helal Hossain conducted drives in different city areas and upazilas today and fined 39 people for not wearing masks and not maintaining health guidelines.
“District administration is continuing drives and regular campaign for preventing coronavirus with a slogan ‘no masks, no service, and abide by health guidelines and government direction,” said executive magistrate and assistant commissioner of district administration Debashish Basak .
“We are conducting drives regularly led by executive magistrates. We are also distributing face masks to the people during drives,” he added.
Executive Magistrates of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) and Khulna District Administration conducted drives in various places in the city and upazilas in Khulna.
Meanwhile, Khulna city saw a complete lockdown on the third day today as the local administration took strict measures to impose the restrictions to contain the spread of infections of the second wave of coronavirus.
