DHAKA, March 4, 2021 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today
expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina’s political affairs adviser HT Imam.
In a condolence message, the minister said the role of HT Imam in the
great Liberation War and after the independence will be remembered forever.
Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, said as the Prime
Minister’s adviser he (HT Imam) discharged his duty successfully and his
death is an irreparable loss for the country.
The minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed
deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
HT Imam passed away while undergoing treatment at a city hospital in the early
hours of today.
