SANGSAD BHABAN, Jan 20, 2021 (BSS) – A total of six parliamentary committees were reconstituted in the Jatiya Sangsad here today.
The reconstituted parliamentary standing committees are the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of Textile and Jute, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Social Welfare and the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
Chief Whip Nur-E Alam Chowdhury moved the proposals for constituting the committees.
Later the proposals have been adopted by voice votes with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
