KHULNA, Jan 19, 2021 (BSS) – Organising secretary of Khanjahan Ali Thana unit of Awami League (AL) Anisur Rahman Beg, 52, was killed in a road mishap on Monday evening near Fulbarigate Jamia Karimia Madrasa on the Khulna-Jashore highway here.
Police said the accident took place in the area at around 7.00pm when a speedy truck hit a three-wheeler from the opposite direction, leaving its passenger Anisur dead on the spot.
Deputy Police Commissioner Sonali Sen said police seized the truck but its drive managed to flee away.
He was buried today at his family graveyard here after a Namaz-e-Janaza .
