Presentation on ‘Employment in Bangladesh Army’ held at BRUR
RANGPUR, July 11, 2018 (BSS) – A presentation function on ‘Employment in
Bangladesh Army and joining methods’ was held today at virtual classroom of
the academic building-2 of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR).
The authority of Rangpur cantonment in association with the BRUR authority
organised the event participated students and newly appointed teachers of
different departments of the university, a press release of the university
said.
Dean of the Faculty of Science of BRUR and President of Begum Rokeya
University Teachers’ Association Professor Dr Mazharul Anwar delivered
welcome speech in the inaugural ceremony of the function.
Captain Afsana of the ninth Engineer Battalion of Rangpur Cantonment
delivered the keynote paper in the function moderated by Section Officer of
the Public Relations, Information and Publication Division of the university
Ariful Islam.
In her presentation, Captain Afsana elaborately highlighted the activities
of Bangladesh Army in different areas.
She also discussed the process of recruitment in Bangladesh Army to
inspire and assist the young and talented people in getting employed in the
army.
Later, she answered to various questions asked by the participating
teachers and students of the university.
Prof Mazharul Anwar said Bangladesh Army has been able to conduct all of
their activities and assignments successfully both at home and abroad
bringing pride and reputation for the nation.
“Bangladesh Army is a great and prideful place for the youth to get jobs
and serve the nation,” he said, adding that the presentation would definitely
benefit the students of the university.
