DHAKA, Jan 13, 2021 (BSS) – A mild cold wave is sweeping over the country and causing suffering to people, mostly in the country’s northern part.
The lowest temperature in the country was recorded in Badalgachhi of Naogaon today (Wednesday) at 7.8 degrees Celsius and the temperatures are likely to drop even further in the coming days, said a Met office bulletin.
Besides, the maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka today was 26.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 15.6 degrees Celsius.
The mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshshi, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Sayedpur, Kurigram and it may continue and spread.
The cold wave may continue for two to three days and moderate to thick fog may occur in the midnight to morning at different places over the country.
