Justice Audit System coming to stop violence against children: Anisul

DHAKA, July 10, 2018 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs
Minister Anisul Huq today said the government is going to launch Justice
Audit System in the country soon to tackle oppression and violence against
children in the country.

“The launching of this system would make monitoring and updating the
children oppression cases easier and enable us to complete the trial quickly.
We have completed appointment against 41 newly created posts at Women and
Children Repression Prevention Tribunals across the country for quick
disposal of the cases,” the minister said.

Huq came up with the observations while addressing a meeting with child
representatives from National Children’s Task Force (NCTF) at the secretariat
in the capital, a Save the Children release said.

“Situations can be arisen where people can take law in their hands if we
lose our trust from the judiciary. We are trying our level best so that no
such situation is created,” he added.

Children’s organisation NCTF, aided by Save the Children, Plan
International and Bangladesh Shishu Academy, is working across the country to
establish children’s rights.
